thesnowman.net ... what's the deal? Well, with a last name of "snow" who actively seeks out sports on the snow it's one of those nicknames from way back when that just stuck. I live in the beautiful town of Boulder, CO in the Front Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Having recently moved here a few years ago I am still exploring and finding many incredible local outdoor havens. When I'm not out and about my day job is filled with various ongoing tasks filled by wonderful clients of my consulting company,Flatirons Technology Services, which I started a few years ago and am still in the process of developing (but it's fun). I find myself very fortunate to enjoy such a beautiful atmosphere as my home.

Before moving here I lived in the small small, rural, town of Easton located in southern Connecticut. While there I spent lots of quality time with family and friends while obtaining my master's degree at Fairfield University and working full-time for Walker Digital in Stamford, CT. Prior to working at Walker Digital, I worked for Ciber Information Services in Nashua, NH, also in the IT department. Ciber was my first "official job" after receiving my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, NH. Upon graduating, I wanted to do something that interested me but was still related to my college studies (more on this later on).

FPC has an absolutely incredible campus, nice size student body, helpful and encouraging faculty, and extraordinary landscaped setting in the beautiful New England state of New Hampshire. While a student at FPC, each moment was filled with simply amazing experiences; from traversing through the walkways which connected all the parts of campus together, to going on trips with other students ... my love for FPC grew even more and more. I have made many wonderful friends in college who are now a big part of my life. Throughout my wonderful four years at FPC, I became involved in a wealth of activities that truly helped me to gain experience in many aspects of the local and global communities.

What I'm Doing Now

So .. now what? I work as an independent consultant with various clients, both local and nationally dispersed, to help them ensure their technology fits with their business. Although I've only been working independently for ~ 5 years I spent some time doing consulting work simultaneous with full-time work and realized the external objective perspective it allows as well as the flexible work environment it affords. The past few years have been both challenging and rewarding as I've found myself in uncharted waters while I work towards building a business and client relationships.

This Site

Many of my interests can be found on this website, but others ... well .. just haven't made it here. This entire site started out as a mini-project my junior year at FPC ... and well ... since then it has just been edited and transformed many times over. Initially it was a very basic static HTML, site and now it has grown to encompass many photos, travel experiences, a blog and other dynamic content. Although for me it's more the process of posting the info and sharing my life than tweaking the site, I do enjoy keeping it as clean as possible. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your surfing on the web.
